Hancock, the original pioneers of the Elevating Scraper. Hancock first built the tow type elevating scrapers, used mainly in the agricultural market. But they soon developed add on scrapers, for the construction market, that could be mated to the tractors of various manufacturers like LeTourneau-Westinghouse, John Deere, Michigan, CAT, Euclid, MRS, FWD Wagner, and Allis-Chalmers, to create a self-propelled elevating scraper. These tractors were originally designed to be used by an open bowl scraper. So they needed little adaptation to be connected to a Hancock elevating scraper bowl. And finally, Hancock would move forward to create their own tractor, designed specifically to be used with the elevating scraper.
